Inaugural Pasta a Casa Blog

Hello and welcome to the Pasta a Casa community! I am a little nervous about starting a new blog. It’s been quite a while since I have done this. My original blog nine years ago, was called The Garden State Gourmet and was geared to general cooking in my everyday life, and I was focused on cooking from The Gourmet Magazine cookbook. As life happened, and my ability and desire to keep that site going waned, my love for food hadn’t. As I have adjusted to my new life in suburban Washington DC, and now as an empty nester, I have time to myself again. I wanted to re-ignite and share my love of food. The best way I could think to do that is to share what I do best in the kitchen—pasta. Every time I talk about my ability to make homemade pasta around people I know, they seem so impressed with this skill. Homemade pasta is a skill, but it is a skill that anyone can easily learn. I hope that my website and my Udemy course will help people discover how easy and fun it can be to make pasta and impress your friends too. Thank you for following me on my journey. I am excited to see where this leads me. Please feel free to email me and post your feed back to tell me what you like and don’t. I hope this generates interest and followers, as I am already planning my second course and would love to keep sharing my knowledge with all of you.
